The wounds that remain unhealed, the scars that are impossible to ignore and the hearts that still burn with pain, passion and grief — for the world to hear In essence this is a gripping tale of loss, betrayal and struggle, but –above all else — it is a search for inspiration and a call for action. In essence, the ongoing Tamil struggle is twofold. Nearly seven years since the conclusion of war, Tamils want to leave in peace and harmony. They want to feel like genuine citizens of a united Sri Lanka. And yet it’s almost certain that genuine equality will evade the Tamil people as long as the justifiable demands for accountability regarding wartime atrocities continue to be disregarded. The draped mirror of Mullivaikkal, waiting for it’s day for justice and will linger on till that day….
